Description: Hanover Township recently relaunched their website at www.hanovertownship.org. The new website features a homepage with a user-friendly layout, links to the Township’s social media and buttons to easily access Township news, along with meeting agendas and minutes. The Township’s calendar of events is prominently featured on the homepage, searchable by department, with information on all programs and events. The Township’s award-winning transparency center was also enhanced on the new website that allows residents to view financial audits, treasurer’s reports, and meeting minutes and agendas for at least the previous five years. The website also features responsive design that allows for automatic, optimal viewing of the site regardless of the type of device being used. Google translate is another new feature on the website, allowing users to have the website translated into virtually any language with the click of a button. The Township’s website was also recently named as the “Green Gov” award winner by Vision Internet for its posting of all government documents to its website to reduce paper waste, along with the transition of processing and submitting Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests electronically.

Description: The Maine Township website enables us to quickly and efficiently communicate important information about township services and events to our residents in a widely accessible and user-friendly manner. We are able to easily measure the impact of key communications medium by using online reporting tools to gauge reader interest and engagement. Over 25,000 individuals visited our website in 2015, which represents an increase of 62% over the past 7 years. The site was visited over 35,000 and generated 87,000 page views in 2015. More than 186,000 individuals have visited the website over the past 9 years, generating 684,000 page views.

Description: Introduced in 2007 and updated as needed. We keep our residents and potential partners informed with up-to-date information on the happenings in our township. We recently added an online form for volunteer registration. Also included on the website are photos and videos from DuPage Township’s events and programming.
