Under Old Business, Supervisor Younker again expressed his request to Assessor Latham for more information to be included on the timesheet submitted by the assessor’s assistant. Supervisor Younker asked that a simple explanation of duties preformed that day be included on the timesheet submitted for the hours to be paid. Assessor Latham asked for explanation, Supervisor Younker said that explanation of duties preformed didn’t need to be in great detail. He asked that they just include the same information that had been submitted for many years with the old timesheets that had been previously used.
Under New Business Supervisor Younker updated us on the “simple audit” to be done this fall. Tammy Hoffman, Rita Batson and Dan Younker could perform this requirement. A motion to approve the proposal was made by Trustee Morgan and seconded by Trustee Schubbe. On a roll call vote, the following members voted “yes”: Morgan, Schubbe, Swartz and Younker. Motion carried unanimously.
Assessor Latham reported that Assistant Anna Rosenberg has completed classes for assessors. She also expressed concerns about P-tax reduction in assessed value by 1st Midwest Bank. She believes our board should consider other banks for our accounts because of the requests by 1st Midwest Bank.
Road Commissioner Hack reported they are currently getting prepared for the summer work on the roads. He would also ask for bids to preform blacktopping on a few more miles of road this fall.
Being no other reports or comments from the Board, a motion to adjourn was made by Trustee Swartz and seconded by Trustee Morgan at 7:35 P.M. The motion was unanimously accepted.
