Reduced Cost Senior (65+) Transportation

Washington Township is sponsoring reduced car ride taxi service in cooperation with Morton/Washington Taxi for ‘Mobile Senior’ residents age 65 and over, who live in and are traveling within Washington Townships’ 61571 zip code area.

There is a $3 one-way charge to the rider for this service. The Township will cover the remaining $12 cost.

Transportation can be anywhere within the 61571 zip code.

There is no limitation to the number of rides an individual can schedule.

You must contact the taxi service in advance to schedule your ride and make them aware that you will be using the Township program. 

Currently, the service is available Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm only.
