Chatham Township

Welcome to Chatham Township.

  • Chatham Township proudly makes a donation to support the Chatham Library Summer reading program.  The program has grown over the years, so the board unanimously voted to support making a $1000 contribution.
  • Chatham Township proudly makes a donation to support Glenwood Speech Team to National Finals in Dallas Texas.

  • Glenwood High School Titan Fever Show Choir will be collecting new or used shoes in good condition (athletics shoes are okay too!) until the end of September in an effort to raise funds for their program and to help support micro-entrepreneurs in developing countries all around the world! The Chatham Township Board of Trustees agreed to support a collection box located at the Chatham Township Owned Community Building located under the canopy.

  • The Ball -Chatham food bank is very well organized from the shelving to the volunteers.  I was impressed to learn about the facility.  The client is required to fill out an application form and has to meet certain requirements.  I am happy that Chatham Township was able to help by making a $1000 donation to fund this great community resource. The Chatham Township Town Fund Budget has a line titled "Community Outreach" for community donations approved by the Trustees.  This budget line is funded by Personal Property Replacement Tax revenues collected from Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts and other business agencies by the State of Illinois and paid to local governments.
