Hebron Township
WELCOME TO HEBRON TOWNSHIP

Hebron Township includes the Town of Hebron and the rest of its boundaries are located in unincorporated McHenry County, IL. Our population is 2,327 according to the 2020 census. We maintain 77 miles of Township road. Our Board meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month @ 7:00 p.m. at the township office. See the yearly schedule on the clerk's page for any changes.
Townships perform three mandatory functions:

Administer General Assistance & Emergency Programs to qualifying residents.

Maintain Township Road District Highways and Bridges.

Appraise property and place value on it, according to formulas set by the Illinois Department of Revenue.
