Judy Link has resigned her position as Trustee.  She is moving from Coral Township.  The Township is looking to fill her position by the September 14th Township Meeting.  You must be a resident of the Township and a registered voter to apply for this position. Coral Township Open House August 10th  

The Township invites you to attend an Open House on August 10th between 6:00-7:00pm.  Come thank our outgoing trustees, Judy Link & Mike Grismer  and welcome our new trustee Roy Money.  While here, check out our building improvements, website, Facebok page and pollinator garden. Food & drinks will be provided. Hope to see you there!


Coral Township Student Trustee chosen

The Coral Township Board is pleased to welcome Joseph Leibrandt as the student trustee for the 2022-23 year.  Joey will be participating a number of local government activities in hopes of receiving the Coral Township Scholarship.  We look forward to working with Joey over the coming months.

Coral Township joins Mayor's Monarch Pledge Program

In March of 2022, Coral TS joined other cities and villages in McHenry County by pledging to establish a native plant garden to help monarch butterfly and pollinator conservation. A pollinator garden has been started around the TS fuel shed and along the wooden fence line.  The garden will be developed over 4 phases. The first phase was bed prep (fall 2021). The second phase (spring 2022) was the bed build-up and the planting of donated native  plants.  The third phase (fall/winter 2022) will be the seeding of natives in the garden and the fourth phase (spring 2023) will be the planting of natives along the fence.

We'd like to thank Lechner Topsoil soil for donating the topsoil which allowed us to build-up the beds around the buidling.
