Cemetery

Harristown Township Cemetery is located on the north side of the township building, 195 N. Meridian.  The cemetery dates back to the late 1800's.  We recently expanded with a purchase of about 14 acres and have many choice plots in the newly surveyed and marked sections.  The maintenance and mowing is contracted thru Cemetery Servicing Company LLC, a company caring for many cemeteries in central Illinois.  It is a beautiful cemetery of which we are very proud.  

The cemetery is managed by 3 residents appointed by the Supervisor and approved by the Board of Trustees.  Presently those persons are:
