Harristown Township Road District
The road district operates in the garages located in the rear part of the township building at 195 N. Meridian. It is run by Road Commissioner Ted Williams.
It is his responsibility to maintain about 40 miles of roadway in the township. That includes chipping & oiling, repairing potholes, installing culverts where needed, repairing or replacing signage, ditching/maintaining right of way and removal of snow and much more. He does this with a minimum amount of equipment and part time employees.
Ted can be reached at 217-963-2579 (leave message) or 217-520-3521.
