About Morris Township

Morris Township is one of seventeen townships in Grundy County, Illinois, USA.  As of the 2010 United States, its population was 7,110 and it contained 3,299 residences.


Sites in Morris Township include:  Illinois and Michigan Canal, William G. Stratton State Park, Gebhard Woods State Park and The Grundy County Historical Society.  The downtown is full of plenty of shopping and dining as well.


The Morris Township Building was named in honor of Keith D. Larson by unanimous vote of the township board in July 15, 2019. Keith was a board member and Supervisor for many years and also served the town as an alderman.
