Effective 9:00 p.m tonight until 12:00 a.m. 3/31/2020 all table service and bar service is prohibited. This ban may be extended under Governor Pritzker's executive emergency order.

  • Food pick-up and delivery service is still allowed. However, customers may NOT enter the food establishment to pick up their order.
  • Food servers must deliver the food at a window or may deliver the food to customers waiting in their vehicles.
  • Lines of customers waiting on the sidewalks will not be allowed. The managers should devise a system to advise customers about pick-up times available.
  • Violators will be dealt with in the following ways: 
    • If an establishment is found to be letting customers in to pick up or eat food, then the Health District or other authorized department of the City of Berwyn will CONFISCATE THE ESTABLISHMENT'S BUSINESS LICENSE IMMEDIATELY. If the establishment continues to food without a license and in violation of the ban, then fees and fines will be imposed with possible revocation of the business license in the future.
  • Establishments should watch the City of Berwyn website at www.berwyn-il.gov the Berwyn Development Corporation website at www.whyberwyn.com for further notices and updates on the status of the ban

Notice is hereby given to the legal voters, residents of the Town of Berwyn in the County of Cook and State of Illinois, that the Annual Town Meeting of Berwyn Township will take place at 6600 W. 26TH STREET, BERWYN, ILLINOIS 6040 - 1ST FL CONFERENCE ROOM

ON APRIL 14, 2020 AT 6:01 P.M.

This meeting is for the transaction of the miscellaneous township business, and after a Moderator is elected, will proceed to hear and consider reports of officers, and decide on such measures as may legally come before the meting and especially to consider and decide the following matters on the agenda:
