Special Emergency Heat Assistance Program

Applications will be issued beginning November 1, 2022

• Applicant must be a resident of Bourbonnais Township.
• All eligible applicants will be assisted on a first come, first serve basis until allocated emergency funds are exhausted.
• A Disconnection Notice or Terminated Service is an eligibility requirement for this service.
• Heat Source Bill must be in name of household member residing within the household.
• A Flat Grant on a one time only basis will be allowed to eligible households only ONCE during the specified dates.
• Eligibility will be determined by household size and income 90 days prior to the date of application.
• Program ends Thursday, March 31, 2023

Households wishing to apply may come to the Township Office at the address listed on this page and speak to Lisa or Jamie.

Monday - Thursday 8a-4p and Fridays 8a-3p to obtain an application beginning November 1, 2022.
