The Mission of Richwoods Township is to be accountable to the public trust through the efficient use of taxpayer dollars and effective responsiveness to the needs of Township Citizens.

Richwoods Township, through its partnership with Pearl Technology, completed its annual STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Academy, in July.  A complete program description may be found in the "Download" section.

The Richwoods Township Office is once again taking applications for the LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) program.  Please call the Richwoods Township Office at 309-688-2822 for an appointment to discuss the application.  Because there are additional LIHEAP forms in 2016, LIHEAP Clients will have to be seen, in person.  Thank you.

The Richwoods Township Office completed two programs during the summer of 2016: Richwoods Township/Peoria Heights Public Library Garden Project and the 2016 Richwoods Township Leadership Academy.  Both programs are highlighted in the "Downloads" section under the "Programs" category.

The Richwoods Township is once again partnering with Rebuilding Together to assist low-income, senior citizens and disabled homeowners with critical home repairs, accessibility modifications and energy-efficient upgrades.  If you are a Richwoods Township Resident and are interested in learning more about the Rebuilding Together program, call the Richwoods Township Office at 309.688.2822.
