Full Time

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional individual to join our team. The caseworker position responsibilities include evaluation, qualification for programs, assistance, referral to community services and caseload management. The ideal candidate will enjoy problem solving, helping the public and the opportunity to assist individuals to overcome barriers to a better life.

Requirements:

  • Proven excellent case management knowledge and skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Clear, concise communication and writing skills
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time

Credentials & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Undergraduate degree in social sciences or related fields preferred
  • Special consideration will be given to multilingual candidates

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Excellent customer service abilities including interpersonal skills
  • Perform duties with trust and confidentiality
  • Skilled in listening, persuading and negotiating
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently and follow protocols
  • Knowledge and skill in database and software programs
  • Partner with other governmental units
  • Analyze and interpret correspondence, policies and procedures from governments and agencies

 Salary:

  • From $19 Commensurate with experience
