The Township Supervisors of Illinois (TSI) division of Township Officials of Illinois (TOI) is represented by a twenty-one member board who are selected statewide. For geographic reasons, the state is divided in to four zones. Zone meetings/educational conferences are held once a year in each zone. The meetings are traditionally held in May through August. (Please refer to the calendar page for zone meetings/training dates.)
The goals and aims of the organization are to do what is necessary and proper to promote and foster the training and education of Township Supervisors in the State of Illinois with regard to their legal rights, duties and responsibililties. TSI promotes and endorses legislation which is beneficial to townships and their residents. TSI also exists to promote, foster and facilitate more efficient knowledgeable and responsive township government throughout the State and to ensure that TSI is properly represented on the TOI Board of Directors
