Voter Registration
To quality to register to vote, a person must:
- Be a US Citizen.
- Be 18 years old on or before Election Day.
- Be a resident of Illinois for at least 30 days prior to the election.
Two forms of identification are required. One must include the applicants name and permanent residence address (no P.O. Boxes). The other just needs to include the applicants name.
Forms of identification must be shown for each person registering to vote, no exceptions.

Hampton Township Bus Transportation Program
Eligibility Requirements:
- 62 years of age thru 64 years of age or disabled (***Effective March 17th, 2008 the State of Illinois offers FREE bus fares to seniors 65 years of age and older)
- Proof of residency in Hampton Township
- Valid Metro Link ID card
- Photo ID
Residents who qualify for this program will be issued one Metro Link punch pass card which is good for up to 17 bus fares. Punch cards will be issued once every two (2) months to qualifying residents. This program is designed to assist residents with transportation needs.

Hampton Township owns and maintains 5 cemeteries, they are:

- Hampton 6th Cemetery
- Bowlesburg Cemetery, Silvis
- Carbon Cliff Cemetery
- Homeland Cemetery, Barstow Road

Health Clinic
Office hours:
Tuesday: 9am to 11am and Noon to 4:30pm
Wednesday: 9am to Noon and 1pm to 4:30pm
***Patients must be signed in by 4pm to be seen by the doctor***
The Hampton Township Clinic is the only 100% free health clinic, for township residents, in the State of Illinois. Some of the services they provide are: school age physicals, blood pressure checks, flu shots (while supplies last), and other basic medical care. The clinic is located in the lower level of the Hampton Township building, with parking available in the rear. For more information on the clinic, please call 309-755-2944 during clinic hours.
