Special Services

Health Clinic (located in the lower level of the township building, parking in rear)

The Hampton Township Health Clinic offers free medical care to township residents. Some of the services they provide are: school age physicals, blood pressure checks, flu shots (while supplies last), and other basic medical care.

The clinic is open on Tuesday from 9 am to 11 am and noon until 4:30 pm, and also Wednesday from 9am to noon and 1 pm to 4:30 pm.

Patients must be signed in by 4 pm.

General Assistance (located on the first floor of the township building)

To apply for assistance, you may pick up an application between the hours of 9 am and noon Monday through Friday. Afternoon hours are from 1:00 to 3:00 pm Monday thru Thursday. For more information call 309-755-2944.

Notary Public

The Hampton Township offers notary service to township residents at no charge. A photo ID is required for each person needing to sign the document which requires notarizing.

Voters Registration

To quality to register to vote, a person must:

  • Be a US Citzen.
  • Be 18 years old on or before election day.
  • Be a resident of Illinois for at least 30 days prior to the election.

Two forms of identification are required. One must include the applicants name and permanent residence address (no P.O. Boxes). The other just needs to include the applicants name.

Forms of identification must be shown for each person registering to vote, no exceptions.

Senior Homestead and Freeze Preparation

The Assessor's office offers help preparing Senior Homestead and Freeze papers. For more information on these exemptions please visit our Information Center for A Taxpayer's Guide to Property Tax Relief.

Hampton Township Bus Transportation Program

Eligibility Requirements:

  • 62 years of age or disabled
  • Proof of residency in Hampton Township
  • Valid MetroLink ID card
  • Photo ID

Residents who qualify for this program will be issued one MetroLink punch pass card which is good for up to 17 bus fares. Punch cards will be issued once every 2 months to qualifying residents. This program is designed to assist residents with transportation needs.
